Hi, I'm Little Geronime

I am not like other kids, but most people love me anyway. I have a helmet that is helping my head become the right shape.  Four hours a day Momma makes me wear these dumb gloves that make my thumbs stronger. I also have only one shoe. It makes my foot point forward instead of sideways. I like to tap my shoe on things to make noise like tap dancers do!

I can Not communicate, crawl, stand, or walk. Please don't put me in any kind of bouncer, jumper, or stander because it might hurt me.
I am Not Good at eating, sitting, seeing, hearing, or cuddling. I get my food by a gTube button that is near my belly button. It looks weird but it doesn't hurt me when you touch it. I can even go in baths and pools with it. Don't let me have small toys or food because I choke easily. Hearing aids fit in my helmet so I can hear you talk to me. I don't always feel like wearing them. They have a string that attaches to my helmet so that they don't get lost. I also have really annoying blue glasses, but you won't have to worry about them because I don't like to keep them on.

I Am Very Good at smiling, laying on my side, sitting in a highchair, and making friends. My favorite place to be is on a play mat! On a mat I can roll to my side to read a book, make noise, or put big toys and blankets in my mouth. Doctors say that I am a lot like a 6 month old baby. At gTube time I like to bang toys in my highchair table. Please keep the seat all the way back because I like to take breaks every few minutes.

I can be a lot of fun if you come get to know me!
I went to the Onslow Fitness Child room one time.  They had soo much fun with me that when Momma asked to have me back, they said "No!".  I like those ladies!!
MieMie (grandma) lives far away.  Sometimes she comes to visit us.  Momma will go shopping while we stay at the house with MieMie.
Some nurses think it might be scary to babysit me, but I'm a good kid and I just want to have fun like other kids do.  If you want to help out, but don't feel comfortable alone with me, that is ok!  Sometimes all Momma needs is an extra set of hands to help her around the house. She can do tasks around the house while you play with me!
