My Parents are Amazing!

My Dad is a US MARINE!!! I know! How cool is THAT!
He goes all over the world and takes pictures of places so that we can see fun cultures and people!  Our whole family likes going to the USO to send him mini-movies of us playing and talking to him. He's our own personal Super Hero!
It is harder when he is gone, but we know that deployment is a very important job.
Being a Marine also helps our family.  Tricare doesn't cover everything for free, but all of my doctors are 100% paid for!  Paying even 20% at 16 doctors offices and 2 months per year in the ICU would really hurt us! We also have a better support group.  Other wives at the squadron are some of my best buddies.


My Mom is pretty cool too.
Her job is to take care of my brother, my sister, and me! 
She gives me home therapy, makes me wear my equipment, fixes my hearing aids a million times, plays with my feet, sets my gTube pump, changes my diapers, plays with me, and loves on me!  While my gTube runs she goes on the phone and computer trying to get my medical costs paid for, trying to find groups that would help us get my therapy equipment, and trying to find help for my siblings too. 
She also home schools Sissy, and takes care of her all day!  Then when brother gets home from school, Momma cooks dinner and helps him with his homework.
When we are asleep Momma does the budgets, cleans the house, and makes sure that everything is ready for tomorrow!
Momma says "I make things work!  That's what I do!"
but Daddy thinks that Momma is a Super Hero too.
